Schadenfreude (PRE-ORDER)
Schadenfreude is a fast, wicked little trick-taking game for three to five players with a devilish twist: the winner of each trick is whoever plays the second-highest card of the led suit. There are no trumps, you must follow suit, and some ranks carry negative value.
The trick-winner collects their card plus any cards that didn't follow suit – but you may hold only one card of each rank, and a duplicate sees both discarded. Score the ranks you've gathered and try to be the closest to 40 points without going over once someone tips past it.
