The scholars are racing to Litha's festival. Send your apprentices out to gather fleeting magical resources, restore life to the sacred vegetation, and prove yourself worthy of the goddess Salamandra — and the title of Great Druid.
Played over four rounds that alternate between day and night, Salamandra is a "definitive worker placement" game with a twist: the resources your apprentices conjure are ephemeral, and must be spent that very turn. Put them to work to build new tiles and earn the blessings of the Bear and Eagle, fire up Cauldron tiles for Veneration (victory) Points and end-game scrolls, pray to the Salamander goddesses for powerful bonuses, or pass to study the Groves.
Everything here is a source of reward — the real challenge is wringing the most from every turn and carrying your strategy through to the end.
