Hive Ultimate
Hive is a highly addictive strategy game for two players that isn't restricted by a board and can be played anywhere on any flat surface. Hive is made up of 22 pieces — eleven black and eleven white — each resembling a creature with its own way of moving.
There's no setup: the game begins when the first piece is placed, and as more pieces join they form the playing surface (the pieces themselves become the board). Pieces are never eliminated and not all have to be played. The object is to completely surround your opponent's queen while stopping them from surrounding yours. The first player to surround the opposing queen wins.
Hive Ultimate is the same wonderful game, now including all the expansions: Ladybug, Mosquito and Pillbug. This edition also includes a Strategy Tips booklet, all in one zipper bag — take it anywhere and play.
