Dark Pact
Dark Pact is a deck-building game with a dark twist: instead of racking up victory points, you're racing to fulfil one of thirteen sinister Dark Pacts — each with its own unique winning condition. "Keeper" Pacts stay in play and trigger the moment your board meets their requirement; "Instant" Pacts fire the moment your hand does.
Each player starts with a ten-card deck of actions, treasures, and multipliers. On your turn, you play an action — which might chain into more actions, extra draws, card gains, exiles, or attacks on your opponents (who can react in defence). Then you spend treasures to buy from the ten-card supply, or reach into your grimoire — a personal pool of cards that starts with three set pieces and grows as you play.
The real trick is the multipliers: play an x2 or x3 alongside an action or treasure, and every numeral on that card — coins, curses, draws, actions, all of it — gets multiplied. Stack them right, and you can trigger a Dark Pact in a single explosive turn.
If the deck runs dry before anyone completes a Pact, whoever has the highest Insight minus Curses wins instead. A built-in solo mode pits you against a bot chasing its own path to victory.
